Yerevan: stones, signs, being is is an experience of combining historical research and literary text on a common subject, one of the most attractive cities in the Caucasus. The reader receives both scientific information about the national architecture of Armenia, and a piercing personal travel guide - the story of Yuri Karabchievsky "Longing for Armenia". Thus, in the interaction of a dispassionate journey through the city with the movements of the dramatic thoughts of a person who is alone in his ethnic detachment, a multi-layered picture of Yerevan arises.
In addition, the book is supplemented with the chronology of the city's construction and the history of the Armenian alphabet using examples of facsimile architectural tablets.
